As a Legal Counsel at our Durban location, you will deliver high-quality legal services and support our business objectives through proactive legal strategies and risk management. Your expertise will be crucial in safeguarding our company's interests.

Responsibilities

• Champion legal compliance and ethical standards across the organization.
• Conduct due diligence for acquisitions and partnerships.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Lead negotiations for key contracts and transactions.
• Advise on employment law and employee relations.
• Review marketing materials for legal compliance.
• Prepare reports for the management team regarding legal risks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB)
• Postgraduate qualification in Corporate Law is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a legal counsel in a corporate setting
