Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Physics Teacher to inspire and educate our students in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of physics concepts and a knack for making complex subjects engaging and accessible.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct student assessments and provide constructive feedback.
  • Monitor and report on student progress regularly.
  • Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment.
  • Foster relationships with students to support their learning needs.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational practices.
  • Implement innovative teaching methods to improve student understanding.
  • Participate in school meetings and contribute to the development of school policies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education with physics major
  • Master's degree in Education or related field is advantageous
Experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in teaching high school physics
