Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, providing preventive care, and managing chronic illnesses. Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations and physical examinations.
• Provide accurate diagnoses and prescribe medications.
• Offer health advice and lifestyle modification recommendations.
• Work collaboratively with nursing and administrative staff.
• Implement quality improvement measures in patient care.
• Facilitate patient referrals to specialists as needed.
• Engage in patient follow-up and care coordination.
• Stay updated on medical advancements and treatments.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical qualification
• Postgraduate diploma in primary healthcare is desirable

Experience

• 3-5 years of general practice experience

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Infection Control Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR): Proficient in using EHR systems for patient documentation.
• Leadership experience: Previous experience leading a healthcare team is a plus.
