Job Description

As a Site Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations on construction sites in Cape Town. Your role involves coordinating resources, managing teams, and ensuring that projects are executed on time and within budget. A strong focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction is essential.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily site operations.
• Ensure that all construction work is performed in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and control the project schedule and budget.
• Maintain a high standard of safety on site.
• Liaise with suppliers and clients to ensure the timely delivery of projects.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the site team.
• Prepare detailed reports on project performance and issues.
• Conduct weekly team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
• Manage conflicts and resolve issues as they arise.
• Ensure that all work is performed with high quality and efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience in site management
