Job Description

We are seeking a creative and skilled Landscape Architect to join our vibrant team in Stellenbosch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing aesthetically pleasing and functional landscapes, ensuring sustainable practices and enhancing our urban environments.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging and sustainable outdoor spaces for both public and private sectors.
• Liaise with landscape contractors during project implementation.
• Prepare, review, and manage project budgets and schedules.
• Research new materials and methods to enhance landscaping practices.
• Assist in community outreach and presenting design concepts.
• Ensure project designs reflect cultural sensitivity and local customs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture
• Master's degree in Landscape Architecture preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in landscape projects

Technical Skills

• Revit
• Adobe Creative Suite

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Landscape Institute Accreditation
• Project Management Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Strong understanding of horticulture: Knowledge of plant types, care, and landscaping techniques.
