Job Description

As a Railroad Fireman, you will operate and maintain locomotive engines while adhering to strict safety regulations. Your role will also involve removing any obstructions from the tracks and assisting during emergencies, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Responsibilities

• Monitor locomotive performance and troubleshoot any issues.
• Conduct safety checks and inspections of equipment.
• Engage with passengers when necessary to provide assistance.
• Coordinate with rail control for safe train movements.
• Document maintenance activities and repairs made.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
• Participate in emergency drills and training.
• Assist in the training of junior staff members.
• Report any technical issues to the engineering team.
• Contribute to a culture of safety and operational excellence.

Requirements

Education

• Valid driver's license

Experience

• Experience with safety protocols is highly regarded.
