Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing prescriptions, advising patients on medication usage, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. You will play a vital role in patient care, providing information on medication interactions and possible side effects.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients.
• Offer health advice and guidance to ensure medication adherence.
• Manage stock levels and liaise with suppliers for necessary medications.
• Conduct medication reviews to enhance patient care.
• Assist in health promotion and disease prevention activities.
• Train and supervise pharmacy staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Master's degree in Pharmacy or Clinical Pharmacy is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community pharmacy or clinical setting
