DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our exceptional team in Johannesburg. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our deployment pipelines and ensuring high availability of our services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CI/CD processes and a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS.
• Develop monitoring strategies and alert mechanisms for critical systems.
• Work closely with software development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Experiment with new technologies to improve deployment and build processes.
• Ensure high availability and efficient resource management across services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree is an asset

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles or SRE
