We are seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will leverage their knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices to protect our organization's digital assets. You will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities and implementing effective security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security tools and technologies.
• Analyze security vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
• Deploy and monitor intrusion detection systems.
• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Guide and mentor junior cybersecurity team members.
• Participate in security awareness initiatives.
• Perform regular updates and maintenance on security infrastructure.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on regulatory matters.
• Optimize security workflows and processes.
• Contribute to the development of cybersecurity policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master’s degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related consulting roles

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
