Construction Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee various construction projects in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing all phases of construction, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Oversee project budgets and assist in financial reporting.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers to finalize project designs.
• Implement risk management procedures to mitigate project risks.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Train and mentor junior staff and site workers.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials and resources.
• Facilitate regular project meetings and update all parties involved.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• MBA in Construction Management preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in high-rise and commercial projects

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Regulatory Compliance

Certifications

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
