Chemical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Chemical Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will develop and optimize chemical processes, ensuring product quality and compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for problem-solving and a strong foundation in chemical engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers for raw materials and safety equipment.
• Prepare budget reports and forecasts for engineering projects.
• Participate in R&D efforts to innovate new chemical products.
• Create and maintain process flow diagrams and technical documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing
