Veterinarian

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Veterinarian to join our dynamic team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of animal illnesses and injuries, while also providing preventative care and client education.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough wellness exams and diagnose diseases in pets.
• Manage treatment plans and follow-up care for patients.
• Assist in anaesthesia and monitor patients during surgery.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding animal health issues.
• Oversee clinic operations and maintain compliance with veterinary regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to operational improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field
• Registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC)

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience required

Advantageous
