We are on the lookout for a skilled Tax Consultant to join our dedicated team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax regulations, compliance and the ability to advise clients effectively. This role involves preparing tax returns, providing tax planning strategies and ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Review complex financial data to determine tax liabilities.
• Provide guidance on tax-efficient business structures.
• Educate and inform clients on tax-related issues.
• Prepare financial forecasts and tax projections.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• Master's degree in Taxation is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in tax strategies and compliance

• Tax Legislation Expertise
• Financial Modelling

Soft Skills

• Negotiation Skills
• Analytical Skills

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Registered Tax Practitioner (RTP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in International Taxation: Knowledge of taxation implications in cross-border transactions.
• Advanced Excel Skills: Proficient in complex financial modelling and analysis using Excel.
