Geological Technician

Job Description

The Geological Technician will assist in gathering and analyzing geological and geophysical data to support exploration projects. This role involves collaborating with experts to identify mineral deposits and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in geological survey planning and execution.
• Gather and interpret data to support mineral exploration initiatives.
• Utilize GIS and geological software for data analysis.
• Participate in drilling activities and sampling procedures.
• Work closely with environmental scientists to ensure compliance.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress.
• Collaborate with mining engineers and geophysicists on project goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Geoscience or a similar discipline

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in geological exploration or related field
