Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Legal Advisor to join our esteemed legal team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive legal support, advising on a variety of legal matters including compliance, contract negotiations, and dispute resolution. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients adhere to legal standards while achieving their business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Offer legal counsel on property, commercial, and civil law.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Draft policies and protocols to mitigate risks.
• Engage in strategic planning with senior management.
• Train staff on legal compliance and best practices.
• Provide legal input on company communication materials.
• Monitor legal trends that may impact the firm.
• Advise on data protection and privacy laws.
• Assist in the negotiation of service agreements and partnerships.

Requirements

Education

• LLB degree or equivalent qualification
• Postgraduate qualification in Law is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in legal advisory services

Languages

• English: Fluent
