We are in search of a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. The successful applicant will play an integral role in various projects, from initial design to final implementation, ensuring that all engineering practices adhere to local regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and execution of civil engineering projects.
• Ensure compliance with all engineering standards and industry best practices.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders including government agencies and clients.
• Conduct risk assessments for projects and develop mitigation strategies.
• Assist in project budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
• Present project updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead regular project review meetings to assess progress and address challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of extensive experience in civil engineering

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis
• Environmental Regulations

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages
