We are searching for a Structural Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. This role involves designing and reviewing structural systems, providing technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle, and ensuring that all engineering practices adhere to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers.
• Participate in site meetings and discussions to address engineering concerns.
• Coordinate with local authorities regarding building regulations and permits.
• Ensure all structural designs meet environmental sustainability goals.
• Implement best practices in engineering ethics and safety.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in structural engineering projects

Technical Skills

• Revit
• STAAD.Pro

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Problem-Solving

Certifications

• LEED Green Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Familiarity with project management software: Experience using tools like Primavera or MS Project.
