Job Description

An ultrasound tester is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging scans on patients using ultrasound machines to assist medical professionals in diagnosing various medical conditions. The role involves operating ultrasound equipment, producing quality images, and maintaining patient records with accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment.
  • Provide guidance and support to patients undergoing imaging procedures.
  • Actively participate in team meetings to improve departmental practices.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and innovations in ultrasound technology.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control measures.
  • Continue to learn and develop professionally to improve skills.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or relevant field
  • Advanced certifications in ultrasound techniques are preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ultrasound testing
