UI Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI Designer to join our enthusiastic team in Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our web and mobile applications. Your work will involve collaborating with product managers and developers to ensure an exceptional user experience, while maintaining the company's branding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Create Wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Utilize web analytics to gauge user interaction and optimize designs accordingly.
• Participate in meetings with product teams to define user interface requirements.
• Define design standards and best practices to guide the design process.
• Assist in onboarding processes for new designers by sharing design knowledge and resources.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or similar field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design

• Sketch

Certifications

• UX Design Institute Diploma
• Adobe Certified Expert

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Background in interactive design: Experience with creating interactive designs for web applications.
