Job Description

We are looking for skilled Excavating and Loading Machine and Dragline Operators to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will operate and maintain scoop vehicles while adhering to safety regulations and company policies. Your expertise will ensure the timely and efficient transportation of goods and materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavation machinery while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials to maximize productivity.
• Keep communication lines open with supervisory staff on site.
• Document all deliveries and maintain detailed logs.
• Engage in routine maintenance of the machine to prevent downtime.
• Conduct safety checks on equipment before operations.

Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Certificate in Professional Driving preferred

Experience

• Experience in transporting dangerous goods is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
• Good navigation skills

Soft Skills

• Time management
• Physical fitness

Certifications

• Specialized training in dangerous goods transport (advantageous)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certificate in Professional Driving: Beneficial for operational excellence and compliance.
• Experience as a personal chauffeur: Demonstrated history of safely transporting passengers.
