Looking for a rewarding role? As a Travel Consultant, you’ll work closely with clients to curate travel packages that match their interests and budgets, all while ensuring a seamless booking process.

Responsibilities

• Understand clients' travel needs and preferences.
• Create personalized travel itineraries that meet clients' requirements.
• Book flights, accommodation, and activities on behalf of clients.
• Provide expert advice on destinations, travel regulations, and travel insurance.
• Handle client inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel trends and industry changes.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
• Collaborate with suppliers and negotiate rates for the best client deals.

Requirements

Education

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification
• Diploma in Travel and Tourism is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in travel consulting or a related field

Technical Skills

• Travel booking systems
• Destination knowledge

Soft Skills

• Customer service
• Sales skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with GDS systems: Experience using Global Distribution Systems for bookings.
• Certifications in travel and tourism: Relevant certifications in travel consultancy or tourism management.
