Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Hotel Manager to lead our team at Local Hospitality Group in Cape Town. This role requires a passionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record in hotel management. As the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of service. You will work closely with different departments to enhance the overall guest experience and drive profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the property’s financial performance through budgeting and forecasting.
  • Enhance guest experience by leading service culture initiatives.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements based on reviews.
  • Ensure smooth operations during peak seasons and events.
  • Implement marketing strategies to promote hotel services and offerings.
  • Collaborate with other hotel managers for best practices.
  • Work with external vendors and service providers to deliver quality services.
  • Evaluate and implement technology solutions for improved operations.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to motivate and align team goals.
  • Adapt to changing market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Hospitality Management or Business Administration is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years in a supervisory role within hotel operations
