Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Event Planner to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing diverse events and a flair for creativity. You will be responsible for coordinating event logistics, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring every detail is executed flawlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all administrative tasks related to event planning, including contracts and invoices.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop promotional materials.
  • Manage event budgets and track expenses.
  • Evaluate venue options and finalise locations for events.
  • Attend industry trade shows to network and source potential vendors.
  • Ensure all events adhere to the set timelines and budgets.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the planning process.
  • Document lessons learned and recommendations for future events.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field
  • Certification in Event Planning is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a relevant role
