Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of civil engineering principles, project management skills, and a passion for infrastructure development. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of civil projects from inception to completion.
• Conduct site assessments and risk evaluations.
• Coordinate with local authorities for approvals and permits.
• Utilize engineering software for project modeling and design.
• Manage budgets and timelines to keep projects on track.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns in project tasks.
• Analyze project results and propose enhancements for future projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Other relevant qualifications welcomed

Experience

• 5+ years of civil engineering experience

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• Environmental Compliance

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Registered Engineering Technologist (RET)
• ISO 9001 Certification for Quality Management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
