We are on the lookout for a Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of civil engineering principles, project management skills, and a passion for infrastructure development. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage civil engineering projects including roads and water treatment facilities.
• Conduct feasibility studies and environmental assessments.
• Collaborate with architects and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Prepare project proposals, cost estimates, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with regional and national regulations.
• Perform inspections during construction phases to ensure quality standards.
• Develop innovative solutions to improve project efficiency.
• Lead project stakeholders through meetings and presentations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Other relevant qualifications welcomed

Experience

• 5+ years of civil engineering experience

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• Environmental Compliance

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Registered Engineering Technologist (RET)
• ISO 9001 Certification for Quality Management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
