Responsibilities

• Create lesson plans that adhere to the national curriculum for early childhood education.
• Assess and track children's development milestones and report findings.
• Build a supportive community within the classroom that fosters respect and teamwork.
• Organize and participate in special events and field trips.
• Train and mentor new staff on best practices in childcare.
• Promote health initiatives and safe practices among children.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at the care facility.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Education or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of practical experience working with children

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
