Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Orderlies to support patient transport within our facilities. Responsible for ensuring patient comfort and safety, you will assist with transferring patients between departments while adhering to strict health protocols. Strong communication skills and a compassionate disposition are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the transport vehicles are sanitized and safe for patient use.
• Help secure patients using appropriate safety restraints.
• Provide updates to nursing staff about patient conditions post-transport.
• Contribute to a positive atmosphere within the healthcare facility.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and other urgent situations.
• Handle any transport-related administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Health Studies or related qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in patient transport preferred

• Patient Safety Protocols
• Basic Medical Terminology

Certifications

• Infection Control Training
• Basic Life Support Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
