We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our growing team in Durban. The ideal candidate will leverage data insights to influence business strategies, utilizing analytical techniques to identify trends and generate actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based applications and services.
• Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with policies.
• Facilitate the onboarding of new development team members on best practices.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
• Contribute to the overall DevOps strategy and direction of the company.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Relevant certifications in DevOps are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role or similar

Technical Skills

• Docker
• AWS
• Terraform

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Jenkins: Hands-on experience with Jenkins for building CI/CD pipelines.
• Background in Cybersecurity: Familiarity with security best practices in DevOps.
