Job Description

Responsibilities

• Prepare compounded medications when required.

• Stay current with pharmaceutical knowledge and trends.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Pharmacy or related field
• Additional certifications in pharmacy practice

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a community pharmacy setting

Technical Skills

• Pharmaceutical Knowledge
• POS Systems

• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of medical billing: Experience with processing medical claims and billing patients.
• Fluency in additional South African languages: Ability to communicate in languages such as Zulu or Xhosa would be beneficial.
