Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery.
• Review and approve engineering drawings and designs.
• Monitor project costs and manage financial resources.
• Facilitate communication among project teams and external parties.
• Identify design challenges and propose innovative solutions.
• Report on project progress to management and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices.
• Assess project sites and make necessary adjustments to design plans.
• Implement quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure adherence to local and national building codes and regulations.

Advantageous

• Experience with Advanced Structural Engineering software: Proficient in using software like SAP2000 or ETABS.
• Familiarity with local construction regulations: Understanding of South African construction laws and regulations.
