Job Description

As an Allied Health Professional (Physiotherapist) in Johannesburg, you will deliver quality physiotherapy services to our diverse patient population. Your role will include evaluating patient needs, formulating treatment goals, and implementing therapeutic interventions to help patients achieve optimal physical health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments to identify patient needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Administer therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility and alleviate pain.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on physiotherapy techniques and practices.
• Assist with the development of community health initiatives and workshops.
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff and interns.
• Engage in continuous professional development and relevant training.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
• Postgraduate qualification is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of clinical experience in a physiotherapy setting
