Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing various infrastructure projects, ensuring that all designs comply with safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies for potential projects.
• Develop project proposals and engineering plans.
• Coordinate with local governments and agencies for permits.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns as needed.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on best practices.
• Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering
• Postgraduate degree in Structural Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience in structural design and analysis

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Material Science Knowledge

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer (C.Eng)
• PMP Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
