Health Innovations Ltd. is on the lookout for a dedicated Public Health Specialist to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. The selected candidate will drive initiatives aimed at enhancing public health outcomes across various communities. This role is critical in assessing health needs, planning and implementing health programs, and evaluating their impact on the population's well-being.

Responsibilities

• Lead public health initiatives aimed at improving community health outcomes.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure effective program implementation.
• Assess program impacts and prepare evaluation reports.
• Provide technical assistance and support to community health organizations.
• Foster a culture of health education through community engagement and workshops.
• Keep abreast of public health research to incorporate best practices into programs.
• Support the development and execution of health screening and vaccination campaigns.
• Manage program budgets and resources efficiently.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or relevant field
• Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community health or public health programming

• Survey Design

Certifications

• Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
