Job Description

Looking for a passionate Physiotherapist to help our clients regain mobility and manage pain. This role in our Johannesburg facility involves working with a diverse patient population and implementing tailored treatment approaches aimed at achieving maximal functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient movement and suggest physiotherapy intervention.
• Collaborate with other specialists such as occupational therapists and speech therapists.
• Encourage client participation and self-management of their recovery.
• Prepare patients for further rehabilitation and ensure follow-up appointments.
• Complete regular audits of therapy processes to ensure best practices.
• Develop relationships with local healthcare providers for referral options.
• Engage in continuing education for professional development.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote healthy living.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to align treatment goals across disciplines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
• Certification in a specialized area (e.g., sports physiotherapy) is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a clinical setting
