Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Social Worker to support individuals and families within the Cape Town community. In this role, you will provide counseling, develop treatment plans, and advocate for social justice. Responsibilities

• Manage caseload effectively while meeting all client needs.
• Develop workshops and presentations for community education.
• Conduct home visits to assess clients in their living environments.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training opportunities.
• Support clients in developing life skills and coping strategies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust plans when necessary.
• Facilitate support groups to foster community connections.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related discipline
• Master's degree or higher is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community services or social work
