Job Description

As a Social Worker in Durban, you will play a vital role in advocating for the well-being of individuals and families. Your day-to-day activities will include conducting assessments, providing counseling, and coordinating community resources to facilitate positive outcomes for clients. Responsibilities

• Identify and address barriers to client well-being.
• Facilitate referrals to mental health, medical, and social services.
• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary.
• Assess family dynamics and provide family therapy when appropriate.
• Promote and engage clients in community programs for better integration.
• Evaluate client progress through regular follow-ups.
• Contribute to program development and evaluation efforts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work
• Master's degree in Social Work or a related field is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in social services or community outreach
