Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Strategy Manager to drive our fleet optimization projects in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and extensive experience in fleet management, ensuring our operations are efficient and cost-effective.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute fleet strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals and manage supplier relationships.
  • Conduct assessments of fleet efficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and legal compliance.
  • Implement sustainable fleet practices to minimize environmental impact.
  • Optimize routes to improve fuel efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Establish performance benchmarks and track progress.
  • Foster a culture of safety and operational excellence in the fleet team.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for fleet operations.
  • Facilitate training programs on fleet management best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • MBA is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in fleet operations or related field
