Electrical Technician

Job Description

As an Electrical Technician at General Manufacturing Company, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of electrical systems. Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems.
• Calibrate and configure electrical equipment as needed.
• Maintain optimal operating conditions in all facilities.
• Review technical documents and schematic diagrams.
• Assist in the preparation of maintenance schedules.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Mentor and train new technicians in electrical practices.

Requirements

Education

• Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering or similar qualification

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance or installation

• Electrical Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
