We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join our Durban team. This role involves planning, organizing, and executing events from start to finish while ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of event planning, from budgeting to execution.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on event goals.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure the best terms.
• Assist in creating event marketing materials and promotional content.
• Oversee event setup and teardown to ensure a seamless process.
• Foster a positive relationship with attendees to ensure satisfaction.
• Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiencies.
• Document and report on event outcomes to assist in future planning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree is preferred
• Relevant certifications in event management are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in event planning or coordination
