Rubber Engraver

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Rubber Engraver to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for engraving intricate designs on rubber surfaces to create rubber stamps, printing plates, and molds. This role requires precision and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Design rubber products tailored to client specifications.
• Ensure the engraving process meets design standards and specifications.
• Train and oversee junior engravers in handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the engraving process.
• Document processes and maintain clear records of production.
• Participate in regular team meetings to provide updates and feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent
• Technical certification in engraving or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in rubber engraving or related field.

Technical Skills

• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Basic computer skills
• Experience with hand engraving tools

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork
• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with laser engraving machines: Familiarity with advanced engraving techniques and machinery.
• Knowledge of different engraving techniques and styles: Ability to apply various styles to meet client requests.
