As a Continuous Mining Machine Operator, you will play a pivotal role in our mining operations. This position requires technical skills combined with safety protocols to ensure efficient machine operation and maintenance. Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal performance of mining equipment and report malfunctions.
• Assist in the calibration and setup of mining machinery.
• Drive compliance with all workplace health and safety guidelines.
• Repair and maintain mining tools as required.
• Collaborate with supervisors to develop operational strategies.
• Foster a culture of safety and efficiency on-site.
• Identify training needs for operational improvements.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the work area.
• Work hand-in-hand with engineers to resolve equipment issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the mining process.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent
• Certification in Mining Operations preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years' relevant experience in mining
