Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Podiatrist to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of the feet and lower limbs. You will be responsible for designing personalized treatment plans and educating patients on foot care.

Responsibilities

• Administer foot and ankle examinations, identifying abnormalities.
• Create tailored treatment plans for patients, including orthotics and physical rehabilitation.
• Conduct surgical procedures on patients as required.
• Review and adjust treatment approaches based on patient feedback and recovery.
• Educate patients on best practices for foot and ankle health.
• Document patient interactions and maintain confidentiality.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Engage in ongoing education and training in podiatric medicine.
• Adhere to ethical standards in practice and patient interactions.
• Promote community awareness concerning podiatric health.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree
• Registered and licensed to practice podiatric medicine in South Africa

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in podiatric practice
