Job Description

As an Outboard Motors Experimental Mechanic, you will play a vital role in the development and testing of innovative marine engines. Your strong mechanical skills and experience with engine testing are crucial in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Build prototypes of new outboard motors and prepare for testing.
• Evaluate engine performance metrics and suggest improvements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative motor designs.
• Create and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Train junior technicians on testing protocols and equipment.
• Identify and rectify defects in motor designs or components.
• Conduct research on materials and components for enhancing motor durability.
• Keep detailed logs of experiments and outcomes for future reference.
• Collaborate with procurement for sourcing materials and tools.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Experience in marine engines is highly preferred.

Experience

• 3-5 years in a similar role, particularly within a marine environment.
