Job Description

We are searching for a passionate Urban Planner to join our team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive urban development plans that integrate economic, environmental, and social factors. As part of our dynamic team, you will work on projects that enhance the livability and sustainability of urban spaces while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design comprehensive urban planning frameworks for new developments.
  • Lead project teams through the planning and implementation phases.
  • Create and manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
  • Use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for data analysis and visualization.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior planners.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies or Environmental Science
  • Master's degree in Urban Planning is advantageous
Experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in urban planning projects
