Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Manufacturing Supervisor who will oversee daily operations and ensure production targets are met in our Durban facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
• Conduct regular training sessions on new technologies and processes.
• Ensure all safety and compliance measures are met.
• Drive the implementation of lean manufacturing principles.
• Monitor and report on KPIs related to production efficiency.
• Foster a culture of safety and teamwork among staff.
• Participate in strategic planning for future production needs.
• Assist in resolving production issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Additional qualifications in Operations Management is a plus.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production management

Languages

• English: Fluent
