Job Description

Join our team in Cape Town as an Employee Relations Specialist where you will play a crucial role in enhancing employee engagement and resolving workplace conflicts. You will be responsible for advising on employee policies, conducting investigations, and providing expert guidance on employee relations issues.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement employee relations strategies and programs.
  • Advise employees and management on employee relations issues and best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits of employee relations practices to ensure compliance.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation between employees.
  • Assist in the development and revision of employee policies.
  • Conduct investigations regarding employee complaints and grievances.
  • Monitor and report on employee engagement metrics.
  • Provide training and resources for management on employee relations topics.
  • Promote positive employee relations through effective communication.
  • Stay current with labor laws and regulations affecting employee relations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Psychology or related field
  • Relevant HR certifications highly regarded
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience working in HR or employee relations
