Job Description

Join our team in Cape Town as an Employee Relations Specialist where you will play a crucial role in enhancing employee engagement and resolving workplace conflicts. You will be responsible for advising on employee policies, conducting investigations, and providing expert guidance on employee relations issues.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote a positive working environment and culture.
• Collaborate with training teams to ensure managers are well-equipped.
• Analyze employee surveys and feedback to inform strategy.
• Develop collaborative relationships with union representatives, if applicable.
• Monitor employee satisfaction and retention rates.
• Promote and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives.
• Facilitate change management programs as required.
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes when needed.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
• Engage in continuous improvement of HR strategies with a focus on employee experience.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Organizational Psychology or related field
• Relevant HR certifications highly regarded

Experience

• 5+ years of experience working in HR or employee relations
