Construction Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to oversee various construction projects in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing teams and ensuring projects meet strict deadlines and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all construction activities and manage site workers.
• Ensure all construction work meets the required standards.
• Review and approve project plans and designs.
• Work closely with inspectors to ensure all regulations are met.
• Provide direction and mentorship to junior construction staff.
• Manage client communications and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts and agreements.
• Monitor and manage project resources and budgets efficiently.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture is preferred
• Additional certifications in construction management are beneficial

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in managing construction projects
