Job Description

We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will work on diverse civil engineering projects, focusing on design, planning, and execution, while ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and design of civil infrastructure projects.
• Manage stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Foster a culture of safety and compliance on project sites.
• Review and approve designs from junior engineers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering project management

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
• LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• French: Basic

Advantageous

• Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM): Experience in using BIM for project planning.
• Background in traffic engineering: Knowledge of traffic management and analysis.
