Job Description

As a Healthcare Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the non-clinical aspects of our healthcare operations in Cape Town. Your expertise will ensure that the facility runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting both staff and patients. You will work closely with financial and operational teams to drive improvements in service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead administration for a busy healthcare facility in Cape Town.
  • Direct and manage patient billing and insurance processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national health regulations.
  • Implement effective record-keeping systems for patient data.
  • Enhance patient experience through effective administrative practices.
  • Supervise administrative staff and assist with day-to-day operations.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including suppliers and partners.
  • Analyze performance metrics and suggest operational improvements.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of budgets.
  • Implement staff performance evaluations and training initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in healthcare administration roles
