As a Drill Runner Helper, you will work alongside experienced drill runners and operators, assisting in drilling activities while ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Your role is vital in maintaining smooth operations, and supporting the team in achieving project goals.

Responsibilities

• Set up drilling equipment and assist in its operation.
• Communicate effectively with the drilling team to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor safety protocols and report hazards immediately.
• Conduct basic equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Update records for materials and equipment used in drilling.
• Work in collaboration with various team members to achieve project goals.
• Provide logistical support during drilling projects.
• Engage in continuous learning opportunities to improve skills.

Requirements

Education

• Matric/Grade 12 certificate

Experience

• Experience in drilling operations is a plus

Technical Skills

• Safety procedures knowledge
• Basic mechanical skills

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Valid Driver's License (advantageous)
• Health and Safety Certification (advantageous)

Languages

• English: Fluent
