Structural Engineer

Job Description

As a Structural Engineer at Engineering Solutions Ltd., you will play a pivotal role in the design and implementation of various construction projects. You will work collaboratively with architects and construction teams to ensure the structural integrity and safety of buildings. The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in structural analysis and design principles, along with experience in using design software such as AutoCAD and SAP2000.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structures using software such as SAP2000.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop project timelines and deliverables.
• Ensure structural integrity through calculations and testing methodologies.
• Communicate design ideas effectively to clients and stakeholders.
• Update and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve engineering problems during construction.
• Contribute to the development of engineering standards and best practices.
• Present project updates and design proposals to management and clients.
• Participate in quality assurance processes to validate design effectiveness.
• Oversee construction progress to ensure adherence to design specifications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualifies are beneficial

Experience

• 5+ years working in structural design and analysis

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis
• Revit

Soft Skills

• Team Collaboration
• Problem Solving

Certifications

• Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
• First Aid Certificate is preferable

Languages

• English: Fluent
